The adage “once bitten, twice shy” could be applied to work-from-home employees who are reluctant to return to the office. The benefits of home work have now become obvious to not only employees but to employers as well. This social change has however, spun off some negative repercussions such as for example, more empty downtown office buildings, empty classrooms in colleges and universities, and fewer inhabited offices in government and municipal buildings across the country.
