When President Donald Trump sent a series of tweets Wednesday morning announcing that transgender people would no longer be able to serve openly in the military, waves of shock and sadness struck the transgender community. Some of those who reacted most intensely were transgender veterans, many of whom had to hide their gender identity while…

Will all the King’s horses and all the King’s men (and Family Compact) be able to put Trumpty-Dumpty together again?

(WASHINGTON) — Congressional investigators probing Russia’s meddling in the U.S. election will have their first opportunity this week to hear from someone in President Donald Trump’s innermost circle: son-in-law Jared Kushner. Kushner, who is a senior adviser to the president and is married to Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, will talk to staff on the Senate Intelligence…

Again, time will tell. Just one false move, and “You’re fired!”

In President Donald Trump’s operations, experience often takes a back seat to familiarity, trust, and a keen eye for what pleases the boss. So it made sense that Anthony Scaramucci was brimming with confidence when he took to the White House podium Friday, just hours after being named Trump’s new communications director. Scaramucci, a smooth-talking…

The analysis of rapidly digging a deep hole and throwing oneself into it comes to mind with this current Presidency. One gasping last chance at climbing out is the strange (and undemocratic) idea that ‘pardoning oneself’ as President exonerates all prior blunders. Power can corrupt, and absolute power can corrupt absolutely, to borrow from sociological findings. Running a government as a business controlled within one’s private sandbox, makes a mockery of the national and international demands for fair trade. An spewing out ‘red herrings’ and denials at every turn, for staff incompetence, renders the federal system a joke.

As the special counsel investigation swirls around President Trump, the Washington Post reported that he’s trying to learn about his pardoning powers. But could he actually pardon himself? Probably not. The Constitution says that the president “shall have Power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offences against the United States, except in Cases of Impeachment.”…

Another prime example of intolerance, ultra-conservatism and lack of body acceptance. The equation of skin exposure = immediate sexuality plagues most of the world. Mostly for deep-seated traditions based ultimately on religion. Making women in other countries swim at the beach wearing a full burkha or clothes to their ankles is another prime example.

Canadian pop darling Justin Bieber and the Dalai Lama now have—can you believ(b)e it—two things in common: Both a solid fanbase of religious devotees and a spot on China’s blacklist of foreigners. The list is particularly strong on musicians. While Western artists are often welcomed in China, Beijing’s Culture Bureau recently issued the following statement…

Trump has implanted heightened anxiety around the world. The Millenials are experiencing it big-time. It plays out at the family, work and individual levels.

It’s good to have a job, but it’s even better to quit one. According to recently released data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), more than 3.2 million people quit their jobs in May 2017, the most Americans to quit in a month since early 2001. It’s also the highest rate of quitting…

When tomatoes smell rotten, you throw them out. Time to shake up the White House Administration. There is far too much mounting evidence against them.

(WASHINGTON) — A Russian-American lobbyist says he attended a June 2016 meeting with President Donald Trump’s son, marking another shift in the account of a discussion that was billed as part of a Russian government effort to help the Republican’s White House campaign. Rinat Akhmetshin confirmed his participation to The Associated Press on Friday. The…

Trump: The Bull in the China Shop (literally).

(WASHINGTON) — A pre-emptive military strike may be among the “pretty severe things” President Donald Trump says he is considering for North Korea, but it’s a step so fraught with risk that it ranks as among the unlikeliest options. Even a so-called surgical strike aimed at the North’s partially hidden nuclear and missile force is…
